How to perform your Voice Scan
A Voice Scan uses your voice to assess the body-field. You can scan from any quiet environment using a computer or smartphone.
Before you start
Two ways to run the scan
The scan works just as well on a computer as on a phone. Pick whichever you have to hand — the result is the same either way.
- Option A — computer: a computer with an integrated or external microphone and an internet connection.
- Option B — smartphone: the Energy4Life app (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and your E4L login credentials.
Option A
Option A — using a computer
What you need: a computer with an integrated or external microphone, and an internet connection.
- Log in to your account at portal.e4l.com. If you have forgotten your password, use the password reset option on the login screen.
- Click Scans in the portal navigation bar.
- Click the BWS Voice Scan button in the top left of the screen.
- Make sure you are in a quiet space where your voice will be the primary sound.
- Click the microphone icon and allow microphone access when prompted by your browser.
- Count out loud while the counter is running.
- When the counter finishes, click Repeat Recording if you were interrupted or there was background noise, or click Proceed if you are happy with the recording.
- Once you click Proceed, your voice scan is complete and your practitioner has been notified.
Option B
Option B — using a smartphone
What you need: the Energy4Life app (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and your E4L login credentials.
- Download and open the Energy4Life app.
- Log in using the same email address and password provided by your practitioner or E4L.
- Press Voice Scan on the home screen, and allow the app to access your microphone when prompted.
- Count out loud while the counter is running.
- When the counter finishes, choose Yes if you are happy with the recording, or repeat if needed.
- Your voice sample will be processed for scan results.
- If processing was successful, you will see a Success screen — press Continue.
- From there you can select View Full Scan Results in the E4L Portal (practitioners and clients with direct scan access), or send recommended frequencies to a device if you use a compatible E4L integrated light bed. This option does not work with the NES or E4L miHealth.
Before you start
Find somewhere quiet. Your voice should be the clearest sound in the room — background noise is the most common reason a scan needs repeating. Repeat Recording is always there if you need a second take.
Worried about how you sound?
We are not capturing the quality or frequencies of your voice itself, but the information carried on the sound wave — so microphone quality and natural variations in your voice do not matter. Any time, any day, any way is fine — as long as it is mostly quiet, the scan will capture what it needs.
